Senior Income Property Appraiser/Reviewer

Responsibilities:
Review commercial appraisals of all property types for accuracy and compliance with Astoria Federal lending guidelines. Conduct property site inspections for new and existing mortgages in the commercial and construction lending areas. Solicit and process appraisal fee quotes from independent fee appraisers for Commercial Real Estate Lending, and assist in the maintenance of the Approved Commercial Appraisers list. Maintain knowledge of real estate appraisal standards and market trends affecting the commercial real estate industry. Prepare commercial property appraisal reports.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years multi-family and commercial experience preferred;
- New York State General Certification (Sr. license) required;
- Advanced appraisal courses recognized by the Appraisal Institute;
- Knowledge of Word and Excel software;
- Knowledge of all regulatory requirements;
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- Valid driver’s license required.
