Assistant Manager Post Closing/Final Documents
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the follow-up performed to clear document deficiencies foreclosed loans. Report on progress accomplished. Assist in managing the receipt and updating of final documents in the task tracking system. Assist in managing the receipt of final documents for Correspondent Lenders. Monitor and report on the performance of Correspondent Lenders that owe final documents to Astoria Federal. Communicate penalties to Correspondent Lenders when final documents are not received according to time frames established. Research items disputed by the Correspondents. Responsible for staffing, training, performance appraisals, salary recommendations, terminations and monitoring of employee performance and ensuring standards are followed. Supervise the Connecticut office facility including oversee the ordering of supplies, provide technical support with equipment, open and close the Connecticut office, act as a liaison with the Property Manager regarding issues of the building maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years Mortgage Banking experience preferred;
- Prior Management experience preferred;
- Good planning, organizational and time-management skills;
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Strong PC skills;
- Able to prioritize and to take initiative;
- Ability to relate to all levels of Management and employees.
